There is an ancient Easter breakfast custom that is still widespread in many Marche families. It consists of a hearty meal of sausages and homemade bread, eggs (those blessed the priest during the blessing of the houses), cheese pizza, lamb cutlets, omelette with mint and beyond. All accompanied with good wine. The tradition is (from the religious point of view) the end of Lent and fasting and the celebration of the return to life with a great desire to celebrate the Resurrection.
